1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a service, subscribing to a plan, or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We may update these terms from time to time, and the latest version will always be available on this page.
2. Services Provided
Tru Balance & Company provides professional dog walking, pet sitting, and related pet care services in and around Clayton, NC. Specific services, durations, and visit details are outlined on our Services and Subscriptions pages or confirmed in writing before care begins.
3. Scheduling & Cancellations
Walks and visits are scheduled in advance based on availability. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or schedule changes. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full. Subscription clients may pause or adjust their plan with at least 7 days notice before the next billing cycle.
4. New Client Discount Offer
New clients receive 10% off their next booked subscription package. This offer is limited to one per household, applies to the next subscription package booked, and cannot be combined with other promotions. The discounted rate applies to that package; regular subscription rates apply to subsequent renewals unless cancelled.
5. Payments & Billing
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. One-time services are billed according to the agreed schedule. Late payments may result in paused services. All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars.
6. Pet Health & Safety
We care for pets in good general health and up to date on required vaccinations. Please disclose any behavioral issues, medical conditions, medications, allergies, or special needs before service begins. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue care if a pet poses a safety risk to themselves, our team, or others.
7. Home Access & Property
Clients are responsible for providing secure, authorized access to their home and for maintaining a safe environment for their pets. Tru Balance & Company is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing property conditions, unsecured pets, or failure to provide accurate access instructions.
8. Liability Limitations
While we take every precaution to provide safe, loving care, Tru Balance & Company is not liable for illness, injury, loss, or death that results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including pre-existing health conditions, natural behavior of the animal, or events caused by third parties.
9. Photo & Communication Updates
We send photo, video, and text updates during visits as a courtesy. Service availability, network conditions, or emergencies may occasionally affect update timing. Updates are not guaranteed and do not replace direct monitoring of your pet's wellbeing.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate services at any time. Clients may cancel subscriptions with notice as described above. We may terminate services immediately for non-payment, unsafe conditions, misrepresentation of pet behavior or health, or abusive conduct.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Johnston County or Wake County, NC.
